  • Closeboard fencing is very popular as it’s very strong and can be built using concrete posts and concrete gravel boards which keeps all timber off the ground, stopping any rotting and lasts longer than timber. However lots of people prefer the timber option for its appearance and it can be more cost effective.

    Closeboard fencing can come in different heights from 0.9m - 2m finished height. All timber is fully pressure treated and sourced from local suppliers.

    Closeboard fencing can be constructed using concrete mortice posts, concrete recessed posts or timber posts. These different systems also come with different rails, such as aris rails or sawn rails which are fixed with a nut and bolt system so its well worth researching what you would like first.

  • Closeboard fence panels with vertical boards are a very popular system which can be installed using concrete slotted posts and concrete gravel boards or timber posts and gravel boards.

    These come in 3, 4, 5, 5ft 6 or 6ft high panels. Closeboard panels come with one side boarded and the other with the framework showing.

    It is important to discuss with neighbours who is having what side if sharing costs.

  • This traditional type of overlapping fence provides privacy to your garden, so it's a budget friendly screening solution for boundary fencing.

    This cost effective panel can be used on concrete or timber posts. The slats run horizontally and are the same both sides.

  • Trellis can be added to the top of any fence to give it a contemporary finish or be used to plant climbers and create a relaxing area.

    As well as enhancing your fence, they will also increase your garden's privacy levels. A trellis fence can even be used to improve security.

  • Different systems can be used around your garden or paddock, wire can be attached to keep animals secure and safe. This type of fencing offers a range of attractive and versatile options perfect for agricultural and equestrian use.

    Chestnut cleft post and rail fencing is another popular fencing system its rustic appearance is well suited to country estates and parkland, but can also enhance the look of any property.

  • A stylish and contemporary look hit and miss fencing gets it name from the fact that the boards/pales are alternately fixed on the front and back of the panel with an over-lap. Both sides are the same so you and your neighbour both get the best side of the fence.

    You can have this style horizontally or vertically.

  • A traditional style of fencing with the option of either a rounded or pointed top. The timber picket pales are attached to a rail with gaps left between the pales.

    This is a great option for fencing off a small area perhaps a pond or flower bed you don’t want your pets to get too. It’s also an excellent choice for marking a boundary often in a front garden.

  • Perhaps the most traditional of security fencing this fencing system offers great strength and longevity.

    Premises can be kept secure at all times due to its robust construction and intimidating appearance creating an effective intrusion and theft deterrent. A powdered coating can also be added to improve the look of your fencing.

    Badger fencing is available in a variety of heights. It is not only suited to keeping badgers at bay, but also keeping them fenced in.

  • Primarily used in agricultural settings stock fencing is the next step up from post and rail fencing used mainly to contain livestock. This option also suits fencing off forest areas, orchards, highways and due to easy assembly and disassembly is also suitable for temporary fencing of areas.

    It would be advisable to go for solidly galvanised stock fencing as part of the fence will always be in contact with the ground so corrosion protection is very important. To enhance its life you could also go for galvanised steel posts instead of timber.

  • Chainlink fences are made from galvanised or green PVC coated steel wire. This type of fencing is available in many heights and is popular due to its relative low cost and the ease of which it can be installed.
